This year, the competition will be spread over the 4 weeks after the League season has ended. In a Swiss-style tournament, with 20-20 rapidplay matches - 3 matches are expected to be played each evening.

1. Winners, in graded sections, will be those with the best 9 scores from all matches played. If a player competes on all 4 evenings, the best 9 results from their 12 matches will be used for scoring. If less than 10 matches have been played, all matches will be used for scoring. This arrangement is to help members who cannot attend all 4 weeks of the tournament.

Tie-breaks may be decided by a blitz match.

A contribution of £2 from each member will be offered as a prize fund along with individual trophies at Senior, Intermediate and Junior levels. Guests from other clubs are welcome to compete, however, trophies can only be won by Bangor Club Members.

The final club night of the season will be on Thursday, 6th May when a 30-minute speedplay handicap competition will be held for the Henderson Trophy. The evening will finish with prize giving for both tournaments, presentation of the club's "Player of the Year" shield and ramblings by our esteemed leader.
