Richard Proctor packed his van to travel to Portadown for what should have been a comfortable win against new League entrants Portadown. This years Division 2 competition has been more difficult than ever, and despite valiant efforts Portadown have been unable to get off bottom-spot. Monday night's game was a major turning point for both teams. Portadown claim their first league victory at the expense of Groomsport who may have lost their chance at catching Barracudas.Portadown emerged victors with 3.5 to Groomsport's 1.5

Groomsport's result revived the Barracudas with an opportunity to put some distance between the two teams as they travelled to Hillsborough on Tuesday. But it was not to be. Despite fielding a 10-man strong team, Barracudas fell to Hillsborough, losing 3.5-1.5.Division 2 Finale
These two results have opened up the runner-up spot for Division 2. A strong showing from Bombardier on Tuesday has complicated it even more.A couple of poor results earlier in the season have come back to haunt the Barracudas; for now their fate is in the hands of others.
